How does Delta-9 Hemp THC work?

Delta-9 THC from hemp works in the body the same way as Delta-9 THC from marijuana (cannabis) because the molecule is chemically identical. It binds to CB1 receptors in the brain and nervous system, producing the familiar psychoactive effects such as relaxation, euphoria, altered perception, and increased appetite. The difference is not how it works, rather its source. Our Delta-9 THC originates from the hemp plant, not the cannabis plant (source of marijuana). It is also naturally extracted – not synthesized in a lab.

The 2018 Farm Bill defines legal hemp as products containing less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight. At Rocket Domes we stay well within these guidelines with our gummies. They are created in a gummy size with a total weight such that 0.3% can still equal several milligrams of THC. Our 3.6-gram gummy can legally contain up to the 10 milligrams of Delta-9 THC each contains and still meet the federal definition of a legal hemp product*.
